  2. The simple fact they don't recognize is that stupid people don't deserve to succeed--Nature says so. DEI proffers a promise of success for all, but, as Styx says, it's actually a lowest-common-denominator sort of success, where the government guarantees survival...in misery, with no other choice available. Sounds like prison, eh?
