  1. I just heard Ted Cruz, along with a handful of other senators, committed to objecting on the sixth. I expect more congress critters to jump on board, as it finally dawns on them the country is burnt toast if Biden should be installed.

  2. I've written a variety of search applications. The "product" that google offers the casual user is incompetent as an end-product! It's almost like they're faking it! The damn thing looks like a bad take on the old Lotus 1 2 3! Why so text-heavy?! Search results lend themselves especially well to graphical presentation, so what's the rationale for not doing so?! And, it's easy to program! There's one reason: they don't want people to be able to search efficiently; they don't want general access to the data they're used to owning...and selling!
