  1. Sure...the Jesus character could have been modeled on Apollonius, throw in a little Bruno for good measure...it's the kind that does happen. But, a story is a story...what difference does it make if Jesus was "real"! It was the figure the Church wanted, for its own purposes...it may be the longest running con in history!
