If Assange surrenders, he's likely not a flight risk and can live in reasonable comfort and freedom during his years' long trial(s)--maybe get some health care. A GoFundMe account could take care of bills...

Well, just seems needlessly selfish for Assange to allow his life to expire in the embassy. I hope, at the point his health is unrecoverable, that he engage the US legal/constitutional system, for everyone's edification. Maybe his efforts could prevent this kind of BS in the future...there are avenues for appeals. It would certainly be a legacy-making event for him.
