  1. The only reason any of these things rankle you is that you're identifying sensorially with these things. If you can arrest the tendency to "feel" what you are observing, the annoyance factor will evaporate. The trick is to prevent the urge to project your senses into the observation. If you're not practiced in monitoring your state you will likely miss the rising of the urge, and find yourself drawn in to the personal experience of the objectified reality.
