  1. They're all symbol systems! Hinduism is especially sophisticated, but any cogent coherent system will serve to effectively structure experience into an evolving understanding. The starting seed, though, is always EXPERIENCE OF AWARENESS.

  2. At 7:10--"I look at the body as nothing more than a meat machine. The self is not this body." Oh, my. Full-blown materialism?! Isn't that really boring? Is it necessary?! Why do so many "spiritual seekers" denigrate matter! Some think matter prevents them from returning to their true home, or some such. There is nothing "wrong" with material reality! Quite to the contrary, the physical plane is the manifestation of the very glory of God! Few Christians credit the fact that God, in the Holy Bible, called His Creation, "very good". It wasn't a mistake, or flawed; it was perfect. It is our own imperfection that renders some aspects of this paradise "painful". We have to perfect our way into a full appreciation of Existence. It is The Way.
