  1. "established by the last couple of presidencies"? No such constraint should be allowed by a sitting president. Encouraging duplicity and secrecy, this kind of unwritten rule of traditional behavior is generally expected to self-limit politicians' behavior and candor. That only benefits the politicians. That's why they seem to talk and talk without saying much of anything. In this environment, a straight-talker is a dangerous and disruptive actor.
