  1. Another high-tech goldrush may be more than we can handle. Computers were "tools"; AI's beginning to look like "slaves". The goldrush mentality throws caution to the wind in pursuit of competitive advantage resulting in shoddy product, which, in the case of AI, may be dangerous to life and limb.
