  1. "All is mind; the universe is mental" is a reference to the One Universal Mind that is directly responsible for All That Is. Thoughts do not originate in your brain, any more than the song on the radio originates in your radio! The brain is an access mechanism, allowing you to operate the One Universal Mind to the degree you are capable. Becoming ever more capable is the whole point of it all.

  2. All electromagnetic radiation is photonic, the usual "electromagnetic spectrum" chart not withstanding. The subatomic "electromagnetic force" radiation may well be outside the chart's range. The "photon" is essentially the encapsulation of an electromagnetic standing wave containing a variety of information decodable by DNA. The clumsy bioelectrical transduction path through the eye into the brain isn't capable of conveying this information, though it restrains, or structures it, providing a container, or context.

  3. Why suffer? 🤣 Why NOT! Memory is the property of the One Universal Mind. Powerful experience produces strong vibrant memories which serve to orient you after discarnation--so you can hold your restlessly dissipating spirit together in preparation for reincarnation. From this point of view, it's only reasonable to embrace suffering with the verve of a survivor! How much can you take, and still remain standing for more!!!

  4.  @Cardioid2035  <--Buddha said, "Existence is suffering". Whether sorrow or joy, it's all suffering, a constant buffeting of your being. Physical discomfort depends from identifying with the sensory level: by focusing on it you amplify it--and there's nothing like "fear" to heighten focus! The analogy I'm most familiar with comes from my self-hypnosis experience at the dentist's office: I had my eyeteeth drilled and filled without anesthetic, but, as long as I maintained complete relaxation of my muscles, especially head and neck, the sensations were painless. In fact, there was quite a light show going on behind my closed eyes! Pain relies on muscle tension, for some reason, was my conclusion. "Identification" automatically follows immediately upon "observation", which we do continuously while awake; but you don't have to take that identification to the sensory level, stirring up disturbing associations to experiential memory that tend to reside in patterns of muscle tension that is called "muscle memory", "emotional armor". You exercise the power to direct your awareness, one way or another, continuously! Live the glory of a cosmic adventure in evolution! Anything less is unnecessarily boring!
