  19. What Pelosi's got is probably blackmail material...but we don't talk about that. We need to see everything working as expected, in order to be comfortable. The fact is that corruption enables govt to function ONLY as well as it does, which is not very. Without corruption, important legislation would happen quickly, which is a strain on the system, and has the appearance of "going too far too fast", which makes a lot of people uncomfortable.

If I met this person I would feel disinclined to trust her much further than I could throw her, and would certainly take the first opportunity to remove myself from her presence.

Pelosi said, "Trump doesn't understand that Russia is our enemy." We've been trying to shake this BS since the cold war "ended". This "friend and foe" mentality is productive of only war/conflict; it is NOT conducive to stable, peaceful relations. Why is that not just obvious?! C'mon...it's like, "hey, I hate your guts, I think you're scum--AND your mother's ugly, and, btw, would you do me a favor". No? Am I making an inappropriate analogy?
