  1. Whites built modern western civilization. "White privilege" belongs to anyone who actualizes the values of western civilization in their lives. Expressing the values of western civilization, you are observed to be civilized, hence, respectable, and suitable for participation in the larger society, which is to say, acceptable. But, it seems, the "civilized behavior" requirement is a stumbling block for many people...which is what prison is for...If you can't control yourself, you must be controlled.
