It seems, then, that the lighter the skin pigmentation, the higher the IQ. And the closer to the equator, the darker the skin. A possible rationale: the survival requirements imposed by a tropical environment are very different from those imposed by extreme northern environments. Interpositions are critical to survival in the north: heavy clothing, thicker homes, and longer-term planning especially...in a word, "technology". It's a matter of practice-makes-perfect: you get pretty good at something you practice for thousands of years. Tropical peoples have a more direct relationship with their environment because it is inherently relatively friendly; so, you're not going to freeze to death, for example. The different senses of immediacy make for different developmental pressures.

Very interesting...but I think there's a more basic angle to take on this IQ variation: regardless of race/ethnicity, this human IQ range is rather large, indicating a great disparity amongst people regarding IQ. This disparity affects EVERYONE! Stefan says we'll always have disagreements. But disagreement between two high-IQ people looks very different from disagreement between two low-IQ people precisely BECAUSE of the IQ DISPARITY!
