  1. No, it's not normal for competing businesses to communicate freely at an individual level, especially unregulated. I'm shocked to hear Zuck state otherwise! Businesses excel by procuring competitive "advantage", through proprietary properties. Employees, free to associate with the "enemy" competition, represent an obvious risk to that advantage.
