  1. The mythology of the "close election" serves the delusionary "America is a divided nation" narrative. And it takes a lot of corruption juice to maintain that mythology. There is one thing the "close" election does: it makes it more possible to "nudge" the election result EITHER WAY, when the difference is a mere handful of votes! A single truckload of newfound ballots could turn the trick. 😒
