Pronoun programming! If the kids want to speak English later, they'll have to unlearn and relearn proper pronoun usage...which won't happen. But I don't think it's all the teachers; I think we have to look who hired them, who supervises them, and allows or encourages this behavior. These teachers are as prevalent as they are because they've been allowed to be for a lot of years, now.
