  1. She says boomers are stuck in the past, without realizing nothing ever changes. The values of the boomers were the same as those of their parents, and they of their parents, back to the dawn of time. Because those are the tried and true values that do the most to guarantee the prize: SURVIVAL! Young people, beginning to realize the greater character of the world, are so thrilled with their dawning realization that they think it's NEW--it's new to THEM!--but it's actually just the beginning of the developing of a comprehensive worldview, which will express those dang boomer values! There's only ONE BEST WAY accommodate the experience of existence.
