  1. A good friend spouting nonsense on twitter; if you don't correct them you're being inauthentic to the truth?! What?! Nonsense! Gad thinks it's actually possible to "tell the truth"! hahaha...I thought he was a philosopher! 🤨 First, you measure your duty; then, you act according to the best intent you can manage. There are many ways to get your friend to play with you--sanctimony is NOT one of them! Save the sermon! Wonder out loud, instead...Your friend deserves that much respect--if you really think of him as your friend.

  2. I'm sure that evolutionary psychology is a fascinating playground, it just doesn't matter much to the EXPERIENTIAL VALUE TO AWARENESS of reality. It's a mechanical template overlay which is unnecessarily constraining of awareness. "Play" is the courageous response to the novelty presented by awareness of possibility. Happiness is contentment; it follows naturally upon accomplishment.

  3. "The case against the supernatural", eh? Do you mean, "The case against the impossible"? If you conceive of something "above" Nature, distinct from It, you're already in a whole lot of trouble, complicating matters unnecessarily. I see no reason to suspect that Nature can be superceded--the very idea is absurd. It's the atheist that sees spirituality as beyond the natural world, and so disparages it as "supernatural"--a slur!
