@escapingchristianity8765 <--"...with certainty...", you say! Oh, you mean, "with some degree of certainty shy of absolute", right? I don't know why you tie yourself to the biblical minutia. What does it matter if one possible interpretation of the bible is contradictory? It's just one of many possible interpretive systems, all with their own peculiar quirks and inaccuracies. When it comes to understanding the truth of existence, one should expect difficulty, not the ease of plain interpretation.

@escapingchristianity8765 <--Well, "...my friends will confirm what I told you is true...", doesn't lend the authority you may imagine...hehehe...Everything's an interpretation--how "not personal"?! If you accept someone else's interpretation, you've made it personal. Why is it important to believe, or not, the bible? You got an axe to grind? All these interpretive frameworks are attempts to express the truth which, necessarily, defies expression. Why do you believe it is POSSIBLE to know the truth with absolute certainty? Does it really make sense that that should be possible!?
