Symbol systems instantiate evaluations of experience. Languages are symbol systems. The learning and use of language imprints itself on the DNA: your body, even the individual cells, understands your language! Your body responds directly to your inner speech. A world of associations is available in each word you utter. The priorities of these associations depend on the developing character--it's up to you to decide what is most important. If an association is a bell, paying attention to it rings it, perhaps more or less strongly according to priority. In time, with repetition, a symbolic shorthand develops, so that the associations are abstracted, resulting in much greater speed of apprehension. But ALL of these associations are to experiential memory--your personal history! Memory fragments come as beckoned associatively, in the style of one's character.

So...there's four different types of memory? Semantic, procedural, episodic, and short-term? Why DO that!? Is it really different types of memory? Or is it different applications or functions of the same singular memory capability?

At one second into the video, I've heard, "Imagine the day you were born..."! I am, at one and the same time, excited and fearful of disappointment that this is going to be another lame "thought experiment", instead of an investigation of the cascading process we call "human psychology". Let's see how the video continues...

We don't know what's going on in the "hidden layer" of the AI? Then, program the AI to log what happens! This is standard procedure in software development! I don't understand why it apparently is not being done. The idea that AI's "connections" are like neurons in a brain is misleading, since the AI is not organically based AND our knowledge of brain function is much less than perfect. We never get an explanation of the hardware/software this AI runs on! How different are the conditions of training and execution, in terms of hardware? Computers comprise within their designs primarily "logic gates", semiconductor switches. By a variety of organizational magics functionality is achieved. AI is not alive.

AI produces synthetic information! Information with no experiential basis in reality...turning reality into a video game...

Your personal AI assistant could have a second face, a public face, so that the Jordan Peterson AI could be available to other people's personal AI assistants--in public mode! So, Jordan can order his AI to breakdown his AI's public interactions of the day according to whatever factors he'd like. It would be like using the internet without manually operating a computer! Eee-gads...

"Hypnotize your AI...", sounds funny! The "hypnogogic state of your AI", sounds funny, too! I hope people take a greater interest in autosuggestion as a result.
