  1. I have an idea to aid the shadow integration effort: neutralize your vocabulary, by studying the dictionary on the words YOU USE, especially in describing your shadow integration efforts. This should lessen the "trigger power", or specific emotional resonance, of the words that come back at you when you search yourself for the causes of difficulty.

"Awareness", the psychological self, has two main tools: intention and attention. Two other important tools are imagination and the sensory system of the body. "Anger" is a device of emotional construction brought about by the activity of intention and attention in experience. Memory is your fifth tool...
