  1. Most people won't bother much about humoring a spoiled child! They'll just, uh, redirect the child's attention...maybe with a handy smack up side the head! hehehe...yeah, you just present him with a "higher priority" impression...the corrective effect being the more potent the earlier it is administered. It is in "work" that reality presents itself most intimately, initiating the child into the secrets of life. This is a proper foundation for development. Missing this stage of development would make the child virtual human garbage, having no function in human society.

  2. You're making a fair case for the institutionalization of leftists! They clearly are afflicted with a dangerous degree of irrationality--they need help to learn how to manage their existences in the absence of special dispensations. It's the same problem as removing homeless mentally disordered people from the streets. That can't happen until the "lunatic" is recognized as unsuitable to the exercise of Constitutional rights. Big problem, since current standards lean to the scientific; and the science of sanity is just not up to the task of reliably assessing sanity WITH the appropriate respect for personal privilege in the conduct of his "internal life". It's too easy to define "sane" in terms of responsibility to the state!
