"Made in the image of God", we are microcosms of the macrocosm, our imaginations of selfhood bearing the same relationship to our bodies and psyche as Godhead bears to the totality of His manifestation in reality. And we share His purpose: the redemption of matter to the spiritual gravity of Godhead. Through us God is present as we meet the great Chaos in the everlasting battle, which is more of a dance, of Order vs Disorder in the extension of order into the unknown. This EFFORT TRAINS, or entrains, MATTER in patterns of behavior suitable to a sort of spiritual maturation, producing enhanced responsiveness to spiritual gravity.
