A vigorous discussion! Gets me thinking...Spirit is always trying to move toward Awareness (as a primary expression of Truth). But it has to transverse a density gradient of the matter at that level of existence on its way to the Awareness. Movement through a density gradient engenders turbulence, which manifests a resistance to whatever is trying to move through it; other barrier region phenomena may obtain, such as the "creation" of a region of reflection: what is above is reflected back, mostly; what is below is reflected back, mostly, which interferes with the clarity of the Truth that's getting through the barrier. Perhaps, what we call "imagination" is just this barrier region reflection layer. Awareness may see the Truth to some extent, especially if there are no personal preferences at play to interfere with and distort the "image", and be moved by it, taking its cues from Spirit.

"Individualism has caused so much death..."? Ok. So what? What is the value of life, living? More importantly, how is that value utilized?! The numbers of the dead are not meaningful in an absolute sense. His position seems to be that bad Muslims are not bad because Islam is bad. Which is facially disingenuous, in light of even a cursory study of Koran.

"You can't be sane by yourself", Jordan says; it's a social thing. That defines sanity interestingly as relating solely to sociocultural standards. That's not how "sanity" is defined in my estimation...maybe the third or fourth listed definition. Do societies need to be "rational"?

Correspondence theory? It's definition uses "reality" as a measure! "Something is true if it comports with reality"! That makes everything true, since there is an imaginable "reality" in which any particular thing is true; everything is viewable as true from some perspective or other. Is that useful?! hahaha...To me IT IS logically correct that everything is true; that falsity is an illusion of the local validity of the logical principle of negation. Negation is only operative in very local contexts.

"Happening" designates sudden change of condition; it characterizes the usual SPEED of awareness. How fast can your awareness shift?

Jesus said Satan is the Lord of this world! Is it his Koran than says God is the Lord of this world? Just curious...

Why does he ask about "ultimate purpose of life"?! Jordan took that ball and ran with it--all the way home! Mo didn't answer, himself. Oh, hell, not another "thought experiment"! The redemption of matter to a state of responsiveness to spiritual gravity is the purpose of existence. You participate by your INDIVIDUAL experience of the involvement of spirit in matter--your individual being.
