  1. The "metaphysic" you're looking for is "reincarnation". Without such a conception, even "purpose" is purposeless. Without such a conception, life is pointless, beyond its simple fulfillment. The mere perpetuation of life is valueless, in the human context. It demeans consciousness, itself.

  2. Nature proves God: the primary feature of Nature is hierarchy; and the essential nature of hierarchy is top-down organization. We're familiar with the "down" side, the area of great diversity. But, hierarchy demands a unitary "top", which is our best sense of what "God" is. If there is hierarchy, there must be "God"...that's the logic of it...

  3. The reliance on the good vs evil paradigm is what's childish, no matter how sophisticated the paradigm appears in its embellishment. It's not really necessary to "go there"...and it's not useful, either...
