  1. Hang on, you're not realizing why the kids are separated from their moms: detention is the first stage of the deportation (or not) process. First they're detained, then they are evaluated/adjudicated, then they are disposed in the manner decided according to their evaluation/adjudication. If the decision is deportation, the parent and kid should be reunited for deportation. Apparently, we can't just turn 'em around and send 'em back without our special processing.

  47. Since, according to this storyteller, the vax works very well against the delta variant, it must NOT be a "different virus", logically speaking. He makes a big deal about how very contagious it is, with appropriately no mention of lethality--because it's NOT. Viruses typically mutate to become less deadly and more contagious. The virus that becomes more deadly and more contagious quickly burns itself out as fewer victims remain alive to transmit the virus--it can't go anywhere! So, Nature doesn't do it that way. Not that it CAN'T happen; there's just no indication people are DYING from, not with, delta. Unless you count this guy's breathless assertions as an "indication" worth anything...I don't.
