  1. A corrupt politician wields influence shamelessly...else he gets caught. Biden's used to dictating terms--it's the political fashion of the previous era, to which he belongs. He doesn't see a problem with the status quo level of corruption in government. And I tend to believe a certain degree of corruption is actually critical to a basic level of government functionality. But they all take it too far...because they can...and nobody's watching...
