  1. Reich's never been impressive. I've found him rather flippant over the years. The point, though, was historical revisionism: sounds nasty, until you realize it's SOP. Victors write the history; historians carry the tone of proximal influences into inappropriate contexts, distorting historical context. What's most unusual for me is to hear it seriously proposed that the historical record should be altered for political purposes!! Perhaps the ease with which this notion was launched and accepted is the scariest thing.
