  1. The US is getting close to ADMITTING to acting to subvert a foreign government, almost bragging about it! We're used to acting that way, just not ADMITTING it. "Mr. Trump, I likes your style". The political stage is window dressing for what's really happening; the game is to lie convincingly on stage, while moving effectively behind the scenes, often in opposite directions to those indicated by the play on stage. I like the idea of just being frank and saying you're going to try to encourage an uprising in Iran, because Iran is behaving badly because of its leadership. I'm sure "the people of Iran, the Iranian people, are beautiful people, great people."
