Hahaha...@4:40 Tim skips a paragraph, without remark...hehehe--maybe because it contained the following hypnotic piece of illogic: "...sell 'substantial' amounts of food to customers to avoid crowds gathering." WHAT?! If you want customer turnover, you limit the time they spend, and you do that with smaller, not larger, amounts! If people are eating in, it takes longer to eat more than it does to eat less. Obviously. I think Tim didn't want to bother verifying what, logically, must be a typographical error of some kind. hehehe...But you were too sure you read it wrong, if it turns out it wasn't a typo, that the city/mayor penned that regulation as stated. You'd think you could sue to have crazy people removed from office...but, I guess that's the can of worms the dems have been trying for years to open on Trump, and not the best way to go about things. I think you gotta go straight to charges, or civil suit. One might argue the logic is so brazenly insufficient that it must be meant as a political device. And whoever wrote it should be personally liable for the prosecution of unamerican standards upon the American people, as an abdication of their oath of office.

"...it applies with a zero-tolerance stance..."? No, that's not linguistically proper. I think there's a typo, "applies", for, "complies", the latter being correct. But, then, that would render the statement obviously a lie. So, if it's NOT a typo, it's a devious attempt at deception. Here we are again: malice, or incompetence? It is becoming more and more practical to assume malice...

I don't understand why these people speak in terms of what Trump "wants", or "thinks", or "cares about"--all things unknowable! This renders everything they say as valueless as mere opinion! But they speak with the conviction of an idiot; only other idiots can be swayed. Everyone else sees ludicrous pretense masquerading as authority! It's adult kindergarden. The social rot precipitated by leftist ideology has developed to the point of being a problem. What happens when an American sees an important problem? Action, of course! THOROUGH ACTION! The rot grew to become obvious? Rip it out! Wherever it is! Then, repair or replace. That's called "fixing it", in America. "Rigging" is a temporary fix/patch, but it's as close to "fixing" as the leftist mentality can approach. When you "rig" everything, instead of "fixing" it, well, eventually, it'll just fall apart of its own disrepair...

Still 23% of white Americans think ALL the protests are peaceful! Even the likes of CNN have called them "mostly peaceful"! I mean, if they, the 23%, KNOW about the protests, where did they get that info?! Every mainstream news source is going to echo CNN--how could anyone learning of the existence of the protests NOT have been informed using language like "mostly peaceful"--not "all peaceful"?! Iow, the only way for them to consider the protests all peaceful is if they don't consume ANY news--but, then, they wouldn't even KNOW about the existence of the protests!? The common approach to making sense out of things is depressingly slap-dash! "Hey! Listen to this guy who's saying bad things that are also exciting!" An endless parade of disjointed presentations too brief to do much more than titillate...or aggravate, depending on your disposition! The MSM wears its incompetence as a badge of honor, strutting it about with every breathless exclamation of danger they make to their captured customers!...But, 23%?!...doesn't smell right--unless they're just LYING! hehehe...

@josephburchanowski4636 Well, that is tried-and-true conventional political wisdom, alright. The problem is that wisdom is no good when times are not conventional. This is NOT politics-as-usual! The marxist infiltration of our institutions over the past 40+ years has been forced, by Trump, to act before they're fully prepared. They've had to pull the trigger on their grand plan to take over the US before they were ready, thereby revealing themselves in higher relief than previously. Their vision of communism galvanizes Americans to protect their own freedoms. As people of the past 40 years eschewed political participation, the opportunists took advantage, and blitzed the system, embedding themselves at the lowest institutional levels first. The infiltration has been gradual enough to escape casual attention, and so we find ourselves, today wondering why our children are being taught "transgenderism" and "gay pride" in elementary school!
From a more mystical perspective, Trump is the Spirit of America's last ditch effort to save itself. He moves in the Spirit of America to restore essential fundamental functionality to our institutions--indeed, to the American political life, itself! I hear the Spirit of America crying out for genuine participation by all Americans: "Use it or lose it, people! This is your last chance. Treat it that way!"

"There is no place for looting, arson, or vandalism in our city"! Is that some kind of...code, or something?! hehehe...Seems EVERY place in Portland is a place for looting, arson, and vandalism! I find it almost impossible to believe Wheeler thinks there is no looting, arson, or vandalism going on in his city! I mean, he'd have to be clinically insane, wouldn't he? Yeah, so...he's...angling into the weeds...as far as I can see...I don't get what he's going for! What's his resolution plan?

Single shot weapons are much less effective in turning back an attack! Duh. "Whoops, missed my first shot; oh, well, that was my only shot...at surviving...I'm dead..." I really do feel "insult" when I see/hear a politician, a representative of the people, pontificating nonsensically. I mean, show a little RESPECT for your constituency, and study enough to KNOW what the fuck you're talking about! Otherwise, I'm left to believe you think I'm so stupid that it doesn't matter WHAT you say! Fuck you and your attitude! But wait...that actually works out to benefit the politician class, since anyone smart enough to call them on their constant bullshit has opted out of the game a long time ago. All that's left of the "electorate" that cares to participate is intellectually bereft: perfect material for politician manipulation! So...talking crap helps them target their audience...I guess...jeez..."I quit this kind..."--Dave's World of Fun Stuff...thanks, Dave...

"Swedish behavioral scientist"...enough said! But I guess I'm saying more...hahaha...The point isn't so much, "cannibalism", but the utter lack of adjustability considered in the forecast that cannibalism would become necessary. Supply and demand is the overarching principle in force. If you open the gates to cannibalism, farming humans for food isn't far behind. But it should NEVER be necessary, except in special and extreme circumstances. The more rare something becomes, the greater its valuation. Can we EVER "run out of gas"? Supply and demand says, "NO": the last gallon of gas in existence would be too expensive for anyone to buy. Leading to that point, the increasing rarity of gasoline FORCES, through capitalism, alternatives to be developed...because corporations are averse to DYING! These types of stories should be couched in language like, "If things continue on this same course...", which is really iffy!

So, you got a president that's doing a fantastic job and is a son of a bitch. What do you do?! If it MATTERS that he's an SOB, you're already thinking off in the weeds...you're playing the Hollywood game, where the most important thing about a candidate is whether you personally like him. But...people are, generally, poor prioritizers...On the other hand, maybe politics is just SO EASY that anybody can do it, so "qualifications" are a non-issue; then, what's left but LOOKS?! There just hasn't been enough PAIN to make seriousness respectable, important, NECESSARY...It looks to me like that situation has to CHANGE...unfortunately...

"Looting isn't stealing property by force..."...all property theft is necessarily "forceful", ditz..."...it's a way of attacking the idea of property." Again, and, again, with the "false choice" fallacy! It doesn't have to be one, or the other; it can be both. But, it IS, at least, the former; looting IS stealing. But, it's MORE THAN THAT: it's mob behavior, which is considered antithetical to civilization, damaging to the ethical sensibilities that buoy culture, and just a terrible example of human being.

The 80/20 rules strikes again! 20% of the population at large possesses sub-average intelligence. Many flies in the ointment, as it were...This means one out of five people can't understand what they read, can't do arithmetic reliably, can't remember task descriptions; these people are virtually unemployable, except for specially-devised environments, like fast food, where the required skill levels are dumbed down to tap the employment-desperate market. No job, so no money, so...crime, of course...and growing up with a criminal mentality (that'll cause warpage) result in a dangerous, worthless animalistic creature, who has the status of "person" under the law. This situation enables all manner of mischief.

"Coincidences happen"!? Oh, do they? How do you know? Or have simply decided so, based on your ignorance of cause and effect? The fact is, what happens happens because the forces at play summed to the result--there's no other choice. In the sphere of force resolution, there are winners and losers by Nature's necessity. Declaring something "coincidental" is for the purpose of denying a cause-and-effect relationship. If you're a materialist/atheistic sort there are whole ranges of force which you are necessarily oblivious to, and, so, cannot perceive in action. And it's inexcusably arrogant to presume that, because you can't SEE the relationship, that it, therefore, must not exist. But that's what it means to be a materialist, eh?

Excellent point about the value of pain/injury!!! And it ties into the pleasure-seeking/pain-avoidance dynamic that may be the primal motive factor in human behavior! We've gotten to this point as a function of the leisure that attends technological development: as life gets easier, we get lazier, because pleasure (comfort in this case) is a deeply ingrained human good ("if it feels good do it"); it points in the direction of perceived benefit. The tendency is to view pain similarly: it should be avoided, because it indicates damage, failure, demise. The value is not so much in the pain as in the extremity of sensation, which elicits from the body a sort of transitional response. That is, an illustration of the principle that changes of scale yield, eventually, given an extreme enough extent, a change of type: a thing gets bigger, incrementally, always still itself, until it achieves a size sufficient to cause the thing itself to significantly change in nature. The body is stressed by the requirement to "cope", to maintain its integrity perpetually; the "safe" limits are discovered and imposed to limit the stress necessary to maintain integrity. Leaving such a comfort zone increases the stress required in integrity maintenance. When that degree of increase begins to exceed capacity, something very different and wonderful happens! Hockey players develop stronger, larger bones directly from being banged into the boards (a study showed)! Even more marvelously, the effect extends to psychology, as well! Anything that challenged your cognitive limits, without reaching "the breaking point" has the effect of extending those limits! CAAN YOOU DIIIG IIT!!! Think about what you DO when you try to learn: you mull it over...intelligently...until you have the "Ah-HA!" moment, when you suddenly realize that you UNDERSTAND! That is this principle in action. H U G E

The first tier of "law enforcement" is social regulation via "microaggressions"! That's the mechanism of conveyance of social "norms", microaggression: you signal your displeasure by a facial expression--you don't yell, scream, flail about, threaten, swear, insult, or throw poop! You signal and separate...The people disparaging "microaggression" are the same ones who could never fit into society, anyway, so they try to change society to allow their peculiar perversions. It seems a bit like the fish complaining to the river that it's current is too strong...But the fish has the innate understanding that, even if the river agrees the current is too strong, there's nothing the river can do about it. The strength of the current does not BELONG to the river...but the current does...

The globalist left has been preparing carefully, invisibly, slowly for decades. When Trump came in, they still weren't ready, but, decided to pull the trigger because, otherwise, Trump would ruin their preparations, putting their world domination schedule back decades. They activated everything, including politicians at all levels, and judges--all over the world. This is the best chance they think they're going to be getting under Trump's watch, so they're going for it! That's what I think is going on...

"Losing one's life" isn't solely a matter of physically dying!! Get real! If you paralyze me, my life IS LOST to me and to the world! In fact, the same could be said of ANY assault, of any sort! The damage caused by a strike to the head, may kill me 10 years later! You don't know! ANY assault has the potential to destroy my life! Therefore, I am obliged, indeed, entitled, by Nature, if you'll accept no lesser authority, to repel assault with whatever intensity I can muster--after all, my life hangs in the balance of the moment! The very idea of "proportional" force is contextually illogical. But some demented people eschew common sense as socially unjust. Can you afford to humor them?

Tim, you're discounting the influence of the city bosses in determining policy rules for cops that actually make the cop's job more dangerous, abusive of the citizenry, and expressive of the pathological urge of government to govern excessively. THAT'S what people resent in their encounter with cops: the feeling that the law they are being punished for breaking is a bullshit law, that only serves elite agents, at the expense of the people.
I have a vision of future policing: a combination of cop on the beat and big brother. Sound like fun?! The cop on the beat is not lethally armed, but he is maximally bugged! As he moves, surveillance cameras follow him. Everything going on in the vicinity of this cop is recorded from a variety of angles...all the time. "Command central" is wired to him, observing, ready to dispatch assistance appropriately--without even being asked. First assistance may be a tazer-equipped drone--it can arrive quickly (no traffic to fight); decisions are made at command central to rally additional assistance as needed or anticipated. Oh, and there would be a special job requirement for this beat cop of the future: he's gotta be an unflappably nice guy! I'm serious! And he CAN be, because he doesn't do any enforcement. He's basically a counselor. Bad guys may tend to steer clear just to avoid the surveillance focus...children would love to pester him...hehehe...and he wouldn't mind in the least...

"How do stupid people come to rule the world?"! That's the WRONG QUESTION! Smart people tolerate it! Because it's EXPLOITABLE! Smart people manipulate a "dupe" class of people to provide for themselves cover, disguise, anonymity. It's convenient to make it appear that stupid people run the world, and, because of class separation, they actually do run the world (i.e. grunt work), to an important extent; but, the powers-that-be provide the impetus to the stupid people who run the world. If everything goes as planned, great; if execution fails, blame the stupid people...then, reformulate the impetus, and try again...

"It is bad." HOW BAD IS IT? It's so bad, "it's gonna get worse". Oh, yeah, Tim? Worse? Is it better to be cared for, like cattle, rather than risk our precious lives pursuing our own interests?! Sacrificing freedom for perceived security is considered a bad idea by smart people for a good reason. But, you are right, Tim, if you don't take this seriously, you might get sick, and even DIE. Then where are ya?! If only you had taken it seriously; then, you might have lived...forever...or at least longer...by some cosmically infinitesimal amount of time. All you had to do to guarantee your additional microsecond of cosmic time was sacrifice all quality of life...helluva deal..."What the hell were you thinkin'?"...

The regressive leftist types have taken to altering the meaning of words as their favorite tack, since they lack the ability to reason logically. I think it works a little bit like this: "I'm fat. I don't want to be fat. I want to be beautiful. I AM beautiful. Therefore, fat is beautiful." Fitness is fairly easy to define rationally--and, apparently, easy to define IRrationally. I see a lot of inappropriate contextualization from these nuts. Crazy people do that; but so do propagandists. When you redefine terms unilaterally, you're almost guaranteed to fail to communicate. These people don't want to communicate ideas; they want to "communicate" FORCE--they want to overwhelm you with the force of their expression, in order to avoid scrutiny of what's behind the expression, even to forcibly implant a notion of correctness to be attached to their expression. They want to bluster you into accepting their "authority". The only people who won't call them on their BS is other crazy leftists (who of course express their support). Finally, they can only INSIST THAT YOU SUBMIT TO THEIR AUTHORITY (i.e. bully), since they lack the capacity for genuine persuasion (logical argument, skillful presentation).

Well, don't get TOO excited, Tim! You weren't born with more brain tracks than the average bear! 😊What you see as "mind tracks" are semi-autonomous thought complexes you've developed by a very special attention to task management, processes and procedures of thinking, in particular, but of any articulation, in general. By relentless efforts at linguistic articulation you've formed a complex network of word meanings and associations to your experiential memory--which, incidentally, responds in "flashes" when "pinged". By the perfection of practice, you've created thought complexes, habits of thought that serve specific purposes. The "habit nature" is a fantastic power, after you've learned to make habits deliberately, purposefully--and break them, as needed. You're stepping into a Twilight Zone of real magic...watch your step!

It comes down to training. All that gear and insignia gives the impression of competence. Would that impression be lessened if it was understood that police are trained for 13 -- 19 weeks, typically, though, sometimes, up to 6 months? Training conditions responses. And it's the police responses that are at issue. The first question: Were the responses executed correctly as trained? If, "yes", and the response has been deemed incorrect, then the fault lies with the training. If, "no", the training could still be faulty, but the officers blameless; or, one might blame the officers for NOT EXCEEDING THEIR TRAINING! Kind of a flip on Nuremberg, where soldiers were held responsible for the especially bad results of obeying superiors' orders, but not held responsible for ordinary bad results. Perverse, indeed, but stylistically consistent with unfounded criticality.

@johntaranto29 <--When you name something, label it, or otherwise define it, you've made that thing to exist. "Bi-polar" is a set of behaviorisms, which, when found together, indicate a state of mental disorder--as conceived of in the psychiatric paradigm--possessing certain features. There is no biochemical test to indicate this, or any other such, condition. They throw a lot of "chemical imbalance" shade, but it doesn't survive close examination. Western medicine specializes in treating symptoms, not curing the underlying condition--that's a doomed business model.hehehe

"Hey, man, I don't want to insult you, but you're fucking fat! Really fat!" Uh, no, the condescension is palpable and demeaning. Be honest, you don't care about fat people; you care about your fear that your health care costs are high because...fat people. Is a fat, sick person, who dies early really more of a burden to the "system" than a thin, well person who lives long?! If you have respectable numbers, I'll listen, but it's a really difficult metric to establish, so I'm skeptical. Of course, it shouldn't be illegal to call someone "fat".

This is great! "Take responsibility" is a linguistically vapid phrase, and an annoyance to me for, like, always. It CAN be meaningful, as in, "legal responsibility". But, usually, it's a throw-away: it means nothing specific--take responsibility for what...how take responsibility?? It sounds magnificent, so noble, lofty, but humble. There's a tendency, hopefully brief, to just "buy it". In that moment lies the opportunity for the opportunist to...skate...on the very responsibility he claims to be accepting. All I see is professional liars plying their trade! hahaha...a lot like Congress...

God is "a man in the clouds"?! That does sound ridiculous, doesn't it? But, it put it to you, Tim, that human beings, "men", naturally conceive of everything as a person, having intelligence and intention. We see ourselves everywhere, externalized in the world. "Gertrude, my car, doesn't like cold mornings..."; we become impatient with "things" that don't work, as if they have a choice--because WE have choice. We understand things according to our experience of everything else; meaning is contextually driven. Our primary experience of being is personal, so everything that is a being is a person, in the only way we understand "person", that is, as ourselves. We can only identify with something to the extent that it is like us. Failing that, we are left pondering the "unknown", scrambling to clothe it in "the known". Of course, the first clothing that we give the unknown is images of fear and danger drawn from our personal experiential memory which we treat as the absolute and incontrovertible "truth". Once the unknown is properly clothed we can begin to date, and get to know each other. 😎

"Johnson" is such an American name! "Savion Amari", however, tells a different story, now, doesn't it! Savion name origin is Basque, or Hebrew, according to the internet; the name Amari is of Hebrew origin and means "eternal." It is also of Greek origin meaning "immortal" and Arabic origin meaning "moon." Is he a US citizen? You can't assume so, anymore, just because he's employed by the government, which seems intent on employing illegal aliens, these days. It seems, as well, that the majority of problematic judges are foreigners who didn't grow up in a Constitutional atmosphere, and, so, have no innate affection for American principles.

It's confusing because the paradigm is irrational because it pretends to be "real". "Leftwing", "left", "center", "right", "rightwing", "extremist", "racist", "white supremacist", "liberal", "conservative", "radical", "activist", "woke", etc., should be properly understood to be ideation descriptors, not identities. But wacky people are personally identifying with these descriptors, thereby imbuing them with reality--a very narrow perspective, to say the least! So, I can be talking about IDEAS, and they will hear personal insults--that's irrational.

"Shaming" is nasty practice. But, arguably, necessary, when nothing else works. There are some people who don't understand things easily enough to allow them to perform "perfectly" (by any corporate accounting, anyway); they have to apply themselves more diligently in order to succeed. Some aren't motivated enough to tolerate the addition drag of that effort, and, so, fail. But "shame" is only invoked when responsibility is denied. Everyone understands human frailties and limitations; we tolerate honest failures well. But the person who blames OTHERS for his own shortcomings appears untrustworthy because of that deception. To some degree, he must be socially out-cast, since he demonstrates a lack of honesty, the prerequisite for association. The dishonest man has no friends...

C'mon, every single organization that's been founded has a founder! Adherents, of course, like the mystique of an organization that has been born organically, somehow...jeez. I'm impatient with people who don't speak sensibly. When it comes to "history"...well, the paradox, "amorphous monolith" springs to mind: history purports to be authoritative, and accurate; and when you learn all the names and dates, you imagine you know history. Actually, history tends to be a mire of historian one-ups-man-ship and atmospheric pressures tending to render the accepted historical narrative propaganda. Then there's always the niggling possibility of insincere contextual wrangling: they're historians! so they think they know the context of life hundreds, even thousands, of years ago. This "knowledge" performs a bias. It's like putting together a 10000-piece jigsaw puzzle, having only 10 pieces, and being able to say what the picture is! Gimme a break!

What emotion should you feel? Is that how it works for you? You decide what emotion to feel and then feel it? That's the actor's art! Most people have the emotion first, and then deal with it. If I'm not personally involved, I have the time to look at a variety of emotion response bases. In this case, "prosecute the criminal barbarians vigorously" is my predominant feeling, thinking things like, "get out of Seattle", "where's your gun, lady", "didn't you see these guys coming", "these degenerate scum should have been dropped immediately"...Feeling "righteous indignation", these days...

What do you mean you're "not allowed" to be offended?! How exactly is this disallowance (according to a selection of on-line dictionaries, this is the correct spelling, but youtube's spellchecker only accepts, "disallowence", with the "e" instead of "a", unless in quotes, then it's the other way around!!! AYKM! BWWAAAHAHA!) manifested? Are you referring to some sort of perceived social pressure?! That's all YOUR fault, so, it's like you're disallowing YOURSELF. You gotta own that. In order for society to be viable, its members must be genuine; sometimes society requires its membership to stand up and be counted, as it were. Your only duty is to be genuinely your self. Sometimes that means you get a hard time. But it's always worth it because the alternative is to lose the thread of your self, which is an unkind way to be...

No, what you have to recognize is that EVERYONE is naturally fascist. We are ALL fascists first; then, we refine and complexify our natural fascist sensibilities into the other attitudes, be they socialism, communism, democracy, etc. You can TRY to paper over your basic nature, but it must always poke through. The process of identifying "naughty" thoughts, and then trying to "eliminate" them is a fantastical undertaking, doomed to failure of a particularly insane-looking type. The issue isn't WHO it's ok to punch (conservatives, Nazis, etc.), but WHEN (hint: self-defense). The idea that it's ok to punch anyone because of what they (might) think is degenerate, fascistic, stupid, and downright disrespectful OF ONESELF! Such creatures require a great deal of...forced assistance.

I'm not the least bit "worried he's gonna die"! Seriously? Who are the defective morons tearing their hearts out over this human garbage?! Everybody must die. It's just better all around if some die earlier rather than later...Nature's design may well be perfect; but, execution of that design gets...complicated. Cosmic rays may cause genetic mutation, that is not beneficial; Nature has Her ways of cleaning up after such distortions of execution. All Nature's creatures are Her agents of change and adjustment, especially human beings, which Nature has equipped with the capability of discerning Nature's intent, and of acting accordingly, to a greater degree than other creatures, mostly due to greater intelligence. But, interestingly, this greater intelligence creates a level of indirection, as it were. Humans lack the direct, intuitive connection with Nature that lower animals benefit from; humans have a bit of a "disconnect" with Nature, too.

The really important point about "appreciation" is ATTITUDE. It's practically useful to spend mental and emotional energy appreciating the efforts of the people working on your behalf, rather than spending that energy imagining your eventual "death by corona" (but that's just one example). What does it really mean to appreciate the efforts of others? It means putting yourself in their shoes, realizing all they have to do to produce their efforts on your behalf. Now, you feel there's someone--lots of someones--ON YOUR SIDE. That feeling may be called, "encouragement". Is "encouragement" much different from "hope"? It's, at least, an empowering feeling, which buoys the spirit. There's a lot of potential benefit in "appreciation", while there's virtually none in despair, fear, panic, and surrender.

<--Yes, that's the law. They charge kids as adults because strictly following the law would cause a huge STINK from "parents" who aren't, really! Parents who don't assume their proper responsibility also don't want to pay the price for their laziness. The state's efforts to rectify the situation amount to the imposition of odd rules of parental behavior on the advice of leftist "experts", like, spanking is child abuse, which, when broken, allow the state to remove children from parental custody. When you disallow parental discipline, you've only worsened the situation you (the state) were trying to improve. It's a clusterF of good intentions, bad advice, and poor execution...and it's heading for resolution, as the situation worsens.

Lemon asked, "Do you want him in Colorado if he's defying public health guidance in California?"! The only "query" value this sentence holds is in the mind of the listener who INTERPRETS the question. Without that imaginative interpretation, Lemon's question should logically be answered, "no", since, "defying public health guidance in California" is not the reason "he wants him in Colorado". This is how the listener is led to emote along with Lemon: his question is logically invalid on its face, but it can be rendered sensible if YOU MAKE SOME ASSUMPTIONS about what he MEANS. The listener is uncomfortable with the non sequitur, so he EMBELLISHES THE CONTEXT to allow it...happens all the time. Lemon is IMPLYING that the governor of CO, in being willing to accept the criminal, Musk, is behaving shamefully...and Donny boy is here to shame us all...hahaha...it's his JOB! Because he's "gay", it's his job to shine a light on the injustices suffered by the LGBdq communities at the hands of disgusting and degenerate white people, who have obviously ruined the planet for everyone, forever. As listeners, we are expected to follow along, and feel Lemon's indignation on behalf of off-white society. This is emotional entrainment, a propagandist technique, whereby one adopts the emotional state of another by repetitive exposure to it. This is the purpose of this "political commentary" format that's become so popular: emotional indoctrination.
The mob mentality is born in "guilt by association"!

"Why can't we get justice?!" Because it would destroy the entire system, 'cause this is how politics actually FUCKING FUNCTIONS! hahaha The system can't function without corruption. It's like the system is an engine, which, without the lubricating effect of corruption, would destroy itself in a great seizure. The system is inherently imperfect, because its creator, people, is/are imperfect. The solution: FUDGE! People act within the system to buffer its imperfections with their own. There is a great efficiency of response owing to the immediacy (both temporal and spacial) of self-interested behavior. People naturally pursue their self-interest, and, while identifiable as the root of corruption, it is not its bane, and provides a mechanism for readjustment of the system, often only locally, and often only temporarily. It's the same reason it's unwise to remove "discretion" from judges...sometimes the letter and spirit of the law have to be fudged together in the fabrication of "justice".

I've been watching you for a long time, Tim, over 10 yrs, I'd say. You've changed greatly in that time! hahaha...go back and look at an early video! You had a reputation as a sort of fence-sitter, carefully non-committal. Not anymore! Back then you never would have said something like, "democrats are insane", with the most grave conviction. As you've grown in skill and knowledge, you've developed the requisite ability to accommodate a more and more sophisticated understanding of reality, which impels further development along the right path. This is an admirable accomplishment! As is your accumulation of resources, which elevates the notion of "duty" to an extraordinary degree. You didn't expect it to get EASIER, did you! hehehe

Well, at three mins in, I'm thinking I'm not going to be getting an explanation for the REQUEST to swap, which, for me, is the only interesting element of this story. The only rationale I can think of is related to video shot composition aesthetics: somebody was too tall in the wrong spot. Whoever sets seating assignments should learn well from this incident. But, why not directly explain, concurrent with the request, the reason for the swap?! I'm assuming, though, this did not happen; I don't KNOW. Even if the reason was because Trump didn't want to look so closely at a particular face, there should be no squawking from a RESPECTFUL White House GUEST!
