  2. The important thing is the court found her argument persuasive that she panicked under the immediate threat to her life posed by the protesters. Therefore, you can, according to the opinion of the court, be excused for a panicked response when faced with violent protestors blocking traffic! Cool. That makes the protestors more responsible for their own behavior--"accountability", is what they like to call it. Sounds fair.
