The problem is Massie is playing AGAINST THE PARTY! Consensus has been reached in congress, why is this grandstanding cowboy playing against that consensus?! Or, is it true that the voice vote would be potentially dangerous to the stimulus package's prospects? The popular unfamiliarity with parliamentary procedure creates confusion that never resolves: the appearance of legislative activity obscures the reality of it! Nobody in news media is making it clear, for instance, what exactly is the problem with having the recorded vote?! Is everybody self-quarantined?! Where was Massie when govt was shutting down business?! I don't see how this is a good political move for him...
