  2. "We live in a democratic society"; "If democracy matters, we're the majority"...! We do NOT live in a democratic society. Society is structured autocratically. Perhaps he meant, "We live under a democratic government", which is also imprecise enough to qualify as "wrong". Foreigners lack the American predilection for personal liberty by advanced societal training. Foreigners' sociocultural programming renders them unsuitable for true Americanism--they can't "get it"! So there's a clash in awareness for them between their training and the American way. The melting pot meant you sublimated your cultural identity to that of "American". Now, it seems, the foreigners' idea is to reform America to match the culture they came from. It's not enough for them to be free to be themselves! No, EVERYBODY must be just like them! Fascists!
