  1. Tim, you're wrong about the "whatever you do in the privacy of your blah blah is ok" attitude, or acceptance; it's not sustainable. Eventually, they want to show what they do in private in public because that's how they feel validated in their precious identities. Another way to look at it: You don't need permission to do something in private! "If nobody knows how queer I am it's like not being queer at all! It's like I don't even exist!" hahaha...The stability of society depends on adherence to the norms that limit freedom of expression most usefully.
