  1. "People don't talk that way" is a fair generalization, in the service of useful stereotyping, but particular cases can vary widely. Maybe the principal is a Pentecostal preacher, who is quite used to the repetition of a given cadence, for example. To keep stereotyping useful you have to question it contextually.

  2. Well, the crime would be "identity theft", and abuse; or "stalking". I'm sure there are even further creative possibilities. But it seems mostly like "defamation" or "slander".
