You know, it wouldn't take that much to organize a mass move from, for instance, utube to an agreed upon alternative. Assuming everybody maintains a mirror or backup of material on utube, they just do an mass upload to the new site, and...bingo! The influence of utube is transferred to another site virtually overnight! It would send the message: you mess with your users at great risk to yourself.
