  1. The right way to end social security is to render it obsolete by the implementation of an ALTERNATIVE that promises to be as good or better. And that alternative should include medical "insurance" sufficient to compete with medicare. After about ten years, the current system would be effectively retired to the back burner. The one thing you don't do is eliminate what you have before its proposed replacement is proven worthy! That would be stupid.
