"When you've dealt with the South African government for your whole life, and then the Chinese government, dealing with the American government is like talking to your best friend."@@...I'm a natural born US citizen whose never lived anywhere else, and when I heard this if I'd been drinking milk it would have rushed out my nose! That really helped put things in perspective for me. The American system specializes in not caring who you are. Some find it heartless, while most, I think, find it comforting...comforting that it's difficult for individuals with a grudge to work the system corruptly from the inside unfairly to your disadvantage. It still sucks to get screwed because you forgot to dot an "i" or cross a "T"...but at least you screwed yourself, so you don't feel so bad...uh, is that right? hmm...hahaha
