"If the world isn't returning to you what you need..."!? Returning?? By what mechanism is it conceived that we give to the world what we need, then the world gives it back? Smacks of some sort of secular mysticism...though, maybe that's what philosophy is. I worry about the veracity of a philosophy based in clinical psychology...seems a bit bass ackwards. And I always worry about a paradigm mistaken for the reality it was formulated to represent. A fair example should be "society": it doesn't actually exist, but we pretend it does because it's a useful concept to thinking. After a time, though, some come to think of "society" as real, allowing for its manipulation, its engineering. It's a stretch of the word to imagine you can engineer something that isn't physically real. This stupendously ridiculous effort to re-engineer something that doesn't exist is dangerous, being misguided as it must be.
