By acts of judgement we strike the balance between internal order and external disorder--PERPETUALLY! Every act of cognition stems from this activity. Every object of awareness is a product of this activity. The "suffering" angle is getting a little tired, never being treated like the participle it is--it has verb value, it's something you DO, as you judge the balance between pleasure and pain, between the known and the unknown! Between understanding and ignorance...we suffer the truth to dawn upon us. Maybe there's no other way to learn but by EXPERIENCE of God's handiwork, externally and internally. But, beware, cosmos is infinitely dynamic--its extremes may be unusefully damaging! On a scale of "suffering", "balance" is "inurement". It's an extremely important and valuable skill to develop. And, sooner or later, one way or another, we will all learn and practice that skill. Manual tasking is the primary form of the practice of inurement to pain and distraction.
