Lemon's a tool. His perpetual parade of logical fallacies is entertaining for a few minutes, until a sense of tragedy kicks in: his distortions inflame the imagination rather than convey information meaningfully. The irresponsibility of this sort of use of language cannot be understated. It's like: "Have you stopped beating (certain other participles are even more imaginarily abusive) your mother? Answer yes or no." The strained comparisons, magnified way beyond their value, fuel their frequent launches into hyperbolic space. They are making caricatures of themselves--but you can hardly tell!
