  1. The tasty roll is called Baur Sak ("Bower sack") and it's lovely. My wife (she's Kazakh) makes it! The noodles dish is called Bish-bar-mak and can be considered the Kazakh national dish. Every party, family gathering, wedding etc will feature it!

  3. Such a great video. Sharing this with my younger colleagues. I'm extremely fortunate - I'm by far the oldest person among my team - I'm 54, and most of the team I work with are under 27 years old. Some in their early 20s. Nevertheless, I'm impressed every single day by their intelligence, and their tenacity, and have huge respect for all of them. They've accepted me into their young environment I really feel no age difference between us - they are, all of them, the loveliest of people. I'm very fond of them. This video might serve as an excellent illustration of the path from a programmer, to an engineer - which is a topic that always comes up! I keep telling them they are not programmers or coders. They are engineers .

  4. Make sure you get an insurance quote before you buy another Land Rover it Discovery. If you live around the London area there is a chance that you will not get insurance at any price as insurers are now refusing to insure them due to significant theft problems. Plenty of videos on YouTube about it.

  6. I've been coding since 1984 (but not on the same program!). My approach is to get something working first. Then worry about making it better as i come to understand the problem domain better. Eventually you reach a point of diminishing returns against the effort required. That's when it's time to call the project done. I'm hitting the like button in honour of your Vox AC15 (or is it an AC30?). I've got an AC30 sat not even 6 feet away from me! 😊

  7. I had one of those, and it was bloody brilliant. After that, i got a Proton Persona automatic, and that was superb as well. They really were cracking cars.
