I think there are millions of people who get a thrill thinking that world is going to end in their lifetime. I've talked to different ones and it's mostly a gigantic excuse to do, or not do, whatever it is they want. It's like super preppers.. they construct their entire lives around the idea that the world is going to crash down and civilization collapse and they want to be the smart ones with three tons of freeze dried dinners. Ironically, they get old and die before they get to charge their friends five thousand dollars for a package of ramen noodles... I just think living in the negative kind of wastes everything. Feeling superior to, or sorry for, everyone else pretty much cuts you off from most relationships and preppers together only have one subject they ever want to discuss, prepping... I'd rather just enjoy my time on earth and my friends and family for however long I have.

It's a continuing astonishment to me that in this day of instant facts at our fingertips and unlimited search engines and experts connected around the world, there are STILL so many people who are superstitious and insistently, proudly ignorant, insisting that anyone with new information is trying to "fool" them, for some nefarious reasons...

What a wonderful comment!! I did not know any of that, and I always feel like a fact and trivia enthusiast, so this is great! I am going to get into more information about him, thanks!

@ronking3049 The only "sheep" are the people who immediately call everyone else "sheep" who don't agree with them, just like they're told to. Can't anyone be original or creative? Why are conspiracy theorists always repeating the exact same thing over and over? Don't they ever have their own ideas? They despise everyone for "following the herd" while they all obediently go to the exact same websites, talk to the exact same people, and listen to the exact same theories and nod along together. That doesn't sound like thinking for yourself, it sounds like you're in a cult.

@jubileeYAVEL I've seen and heard so many people who are angry is you don't believe them...they constantly and instantly turn to insults and accusation as you said, but never any actual facts. They assume if you aren't "for" what they believe, you must be "against" them. It never occurs to them that there is anything else...its always the same, wild accusations, followed by the same insults, then dire warnings... If someone says, "do the research", it's always the same websites like Secure Team, or David Paulides missing 411....
