  1. I live in San Antonio, and the ghost tracks are a San Antonio rite of passage, or have been. They graded down the ghost tracks and changed the whole area. Although the street signs in the surrounding area are all children's names, the bus accident happened in a whole other state, and not in Texas, much less San Antonio. Still, the legend persisted for decades, and it was famous for weird events. So, perhaps all the expectations created or attracted spirits. A ton of people swear by the ghosts there, even though there were never any disasters in the area....
