When I was a teenager in Palo Palo Alto, California in the 60s and 70s, Atari built a testing room and let some kids in all Summer to play the games so they could see what was popular. There wasn't much at first, but I remember spending too much time in there...I actually got burnt out fast because there wasn't anything sophisticated yet, and since it was all free, all day, I never wanted to actually pay money to play stuff later. I never found out what eventually happened or how long they had it, but some kids I went to high school with got in on the ground floor of some the massive companies running the world today...

That's because you're an intelligent person that doesn't attach their ego to a piece of plastic to feel important. People that get enraged about something that is not literally life or death are stunted emotionally, so just pity them...
