Later Feraligatr Elizabeth Montgomery was amazing in that role! It was a well done, made for TV movie. I think she was underrated as an actress..

@Muirmaiden Most actors are extremely "original". All the ones I ever met were really eccentric!

pat johnson I truly hope you never serve on a jury! Everyone was "dumb", all the "blatant evidence", "case closed"; you don't have to know any pesky details to convict someone, do you? She was probably guilty. Because forensic science had not yet been developed, most law enforcement relied on witnesses, what evidence of a physical nature they could identify, and their own personal knowledge of human nature. To discredit everyone from the past as "dumb" only highlights your own mental process, not theirs.

bigbabysld That's really interesting! talk about 6 degrees of separation!! E. Montgomery's father was famous too, I can't rememberwhat for, but the whole family was successful and talented.

IEMac6 she never had children, but maybe you could be her conjoined twin...

Shane Blasingame so you are also related to Elizabeth Montgomery!

Cameron fielder Actually, it's very possible. Although Lizzie Borden was herself a spinster, her family line branches off before her into hundreds of East Coast relations. I think it is interesting that so many people have connected over this.. They have no reason to lie, since they aren't using real names anyway..besides, who cares? There are other things to be upset about.

Mr. Borden was so stingy he apparently made everyone eat old, rotten mutton (an old sheep) for days in the summer (no refrigeration!) until everyone in the house had food poisoning. He also loved forcing everyone to consume moldy bread, rotted fruit and worked their one serving girl almost to death! There were many people who hated him, and the number of axe blows certainly testify to an intense hatred! No one keeps on hacking at someone over and over unless it's personal. I always had a theory that the local butcher killed them for Lizzie. A butcher would be one of the few men the women would see on a regular basis and be allowed to converse with, and the blood issue wouldn't have been noticed since old time butchers were always soaking in it! They also delivered meats.
