  1. That's why the Rolling Stones stayed somewhat relevant during the disco era with, "Beast of Burden". They had at least one hit all through the years. They understood changing styles and tastes while keeping their own unique sound, just my opinion...

  4. You just didn't see her when she absolutely ruled MTV. I worked in a music studio in LA and the artists would come running out and watch her new single, she was so influential at the time. No one had done what she did on tv, it was great. She naturally got older and different people and styles came up, nothing wrong with that. A lot of people still love her, but you cannot imagine the effect she had back in the "old days"...she just does not have the same impact. Compared to what she was, her career is very reduced. That's just life, not a reflection on her particularly...
