  1. My friends and I used to inner tube out at Santa Cruz. Sometimes seals would be attracted to our black inner tubes and come play with us. We would get pretty far out and were too young to know that being around seals is like telling a shark you're ready to die. I can't even believe now that we did that and survived!! My sister used to dive off Carmel and they saw great whites all the time. I guess we just didn't think anything would happen!!
