  1. I met David Bowie in 1990 at a music studio in Los Angeles and he was the only famous person I've ever met who actually made me feel starstruck. He was an amazing personal presence, yet quiet and friendly. It was early on a Sunday and there just a couple of people there. I went to Luther's to get espresso milkshakes (the best in the world!) and he sat down with my husband to read the Sunday papers. It's always been one of my favorite memories of our time in the music business. I met a lot of stars, but he was really someone special, he just had incredible charisma.
