  1. The scimitar horned oryx is extremely dangerous, large and powerful. I had never even heard of them until a pair of them escaped from at an exotic game ranch near us, and I came up on them on our property...they were huge! Their horns are 6 feet long, at least...I was sure my little .22 snake gun would only irritate it....I had no idea what I was looking at and found out later...I knew they had to be lethal though, they are very imposing and fearless...

  2. They do want you for food, if they're hungry. Orcas hang out in water under 55 degrees, where no sane person will be swimming, so they don't cruise in the same waters. Several trainers at SeaWorld have been injured and killed by the orcas over the years, and a guy (I believe it was in San Diego, can't remember) who hid out at SeaWorld until the park closed so he could swim with Shamu, was attacked and mostly gone by the next morning, and those whales are fed well all the time...
