  1. I watched both the anime and movie version of grave of the fireflies, and the anime was superior, and I don't watch anime! The entire story was based the childhood of the man that wrote it and is so painful, that I was depressed for weeks. But it is important to remember that war affects children the most, in such a scarred, terrible fashion, that even if they live, they can never recover.
